Our client, an educational institute in South London, are looking for an experienced Director of SEND to join their team and play a crucial role in their SEND operations. Position: Director of SENDLocation: South LondonSalary: £67,497 - £80,563 per annumContract: PermanentDuties: Lead the planning, development and delivery of the Strategic Flood Management team, the Sustainable Drainage team and the Flood Capital Programme team workstreams. Oversee the preparation of internal and external business plans for projects and submit and present to decision making bodies internally and externally. Lead the development and oversee the implementation of policy, systems, contracts, processes, performance criteria, standards, governance frameworks, and procedures. Ensure commissioning and procurement of goods / services meets all strategic and procedural requirements. Implement a comprehensive risk management programme for the area of responsibility, including implementation and delivery of corporate risk management processes. Job Requirements: A degree in an English or Maths subject. Teaching qualification. Evidence of successfully teaching SEND. Evidence of managing SEND provision to at least course leadership level. A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is essential for this role.
