Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Dudley
Pay: £14ph
Hours of work: Monday to Friday- 7am to 3pm

Pertemps are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our client a well-establish manufacturer within the Dudley area. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, modern environment within a friendly and supportive team. Full training will be provided. You’ll be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of plastic automotive components, ensuring they meet strict customer and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of products.
- Use a range of measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and plug gauges.
- Check components against engineering drawings, samples, and quality specifications.
- Record inspection data accurately on inspection sheets and electronic systems.
- Identify and report any defects, non-conformance''s, or process issues to the Quality Team Leader.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure inspection areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with company standards.
- Liaise with production teams to maintain consistent product quality and promote a culture of right-first-time manufacturing.

Successful Candidates will have:

- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Confident using measuring tools and working to precise tolerances.
- Good communication, teamwork, and record-keeping skills.
