Lifting Operations Trainer Location: Covering the South Salary: £40,000 £45,000 per annum Reporting to: Training Operations Manager About Our Client Our client is an established provider of health, safety and technical training, delivering recognised qualifications to businesses across the UK and Ireland. They are looking for an experienced lifting professional or qualified trainer to join their specialist technical training team. The Role Are you an experienced Slinger Signaller, Lift Supervisor or Appointed Person looking to move into training? Whether you are already a qualified instructor or an experienced operator looking to move off the tools, our client will provide training, mentoring and funding to help you gain the necessary teaching and assessing qualifications. Key Responsibilities Course delivery: Deliver practical and classroom training covering Slinger Signaller, Lift Supervisor, Appointed Person duties and relevant plant machinery. Candidate assessment: Manage NVQ portfolios from Level 2 to Level 5, supporting candidates from registration through to final submission. Safety and compliance: Teach load calculations, centre-of-gravity principles and the thorough examination of lifting equipment accessories, in line with LOLER 1998, PUWER 1998 and BS 7121.
