Aspire People are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Shrewsbury. This is a full-time, long-term role where you''ll provide valuable support to children with special educational needs, helping them thrive in a classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons to children with additional needs.Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, ensuring their learning is accessible and engaging.Assist with the development of individual learning plans (ILPs) for students.Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils.Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.Promote independence and encourage social and emotional development.Support pupils during lunchtime and break times as necessary.Key Requirements:Experience working with children with additional needs is essential.A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or education is desirable, though not required.
