Pre-School Room Leader
Location: City of London - currently based in Barbican, relocating to a brand-new Shoreditch site
Salary: -30,000 - -35,000 per annum

About the Role
As a Pre-School Room Leader, you will take full responsibility for leading and managing a busy pre-school room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, anddevelopment for children aged 3-5 years.

You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, mentoring staff, and creating an engaging and stimulating environment that supports every child''s individual development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of practitioners within the pre-school room
• Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
• Monitor children''s learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates
• Ensure the room meets all safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements
• Contribute to the overall ethos and continuous improvement of the nursery

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
• Proven experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or room leader capacity
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and delivering high-quality care
