An established, globally recognised organisation is seeking an experienced Information Systems and Security Manager to take ownership of its IT systems and cyber security function during a period of digital transformation.This is a senior, hands-on role with strategic influence, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, and a Managed Service ProviderKey ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage information systems and cyber security across the organisationLead ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus compliance, audits, and renewalsAct as the senior escalation point for IT incidents and security eventsOversee and challenge a Managed Service Provider against agreed standardsEnsure secure configuration and operation of cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, CRM, finance, and operational systemsMaintain governance documentation, risk registers, and incident management plansDeliver security awareness training and ensure compliant joiner/mover/leaver processesSkills and Experience RequiredSenior IT / Information Security leadership experience in a remote, cloud-based environmentProven delivery of ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials PlusStrong working knowledge of GDPRBroad technical understanding across SaaS, cloud hosting, M365, and integrationsConfident stakeholder manager with strong communication skillsCalm, analytical, and solutions-focused approachQualificationsDegree (or equivalent) in IT or a numerate disciplineDesirable certifica
