1st Line Support Engineer
About the Role:I am looking for a proactive and reliable 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join my clients team. I am keen to find someone who can quickly integrate into the team and provide high-quality frontline IT support.The successful candidate will be hands-on, customer-focused, and confident supporting a variety of users and systems within a busy IT environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1st line IT support for:Microsoft Windows 11 desktopsMicrosoft Office 365Internal business applications (following documented procedures)Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals across the regionCreate and manage Active Directory accounts and mailboxesMonitor Rubrik backups and assist with data restoresEnsure all support calls are: Logged correctlyUpdated regularlyCategorised appropriately within the Service Desk systemEscalate incidents to relevant teams where requiredBuild and configure devices using Microsoft Intune (training provided)Essential Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 2 years'' experience in a 1st Line IT Support roleStrong working knowledge of: Windows 11Microsoft 365 / Office 365Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Willingness to work fully onsite (non-hybrid role)What''s on Offer:Salary of £28,000Stable Monday-Friday working hours (09:00-17:00)Opportunity to gain exposure to a broad IT environmentTraining provided where required (
