CarmichaelUK are working with a Tier 1 Contractor on the HS2 project and are looking to recruit a Site Engineer with either structures or highways experience to join the team in Buckinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on Europe’s largest infrastructure project, with long-term opportunities available across multiple sections.

• Setting out works in line with design drawings and specifications

• Assisting in supervising construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance

• Managing permits, requisitions, and materials orders

• Preparing site documentation, reports and carrying out as-built surveys

• Liaising with Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Foremen and subcontractors

• Monitoring progress against programme, identifying and resolving site issues

• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring safety standards are maintained

• HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

• Experience in highways or structures is essential

• Strong setting out and surveying skills (Total Station / GPS)

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and other engineering software

• CSCS card holder

• Full UK driving licence
