I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturer of electric motors and drive systems, who is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their operations team in Dorset.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience to work within a busy manufacturing environment, maintaining a varied range of production machinery, including CNC and PLC-controlled equipment.As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates efficiently, minimising downtime and improving machinery reliability through effective preventative maintenance and fault finding.Key responsibilities:Carry out electrical, electronic and mechanical fault finding and repairs on production machinery.Maintain and repair CNC machines and PLC-controlled equipment.Undertake planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.Maintain electrical equipment, factory services and associated infrastructure.Diagnose faults involving hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial control systems.Support machinery installations, inspections and maintenance activities.Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.Identify and implement improvements to reduce recurring breakdowns.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures.What I''m looking for:Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a ..... full job details .....
