We are currently looking for a Caretaker. You will be working in Birmingham (B19). This is based in a school Shift pattern between 6am - 6pm week days Temp Contract - Ongoing Pay rate - £15ph paye Job Purpose To open and close various corporate buildings at designated times in line with the business needs of the Council and to be available for occasional access to buildings out of hours. Be able and willing to provide cover and support to the Facilities team at other corporate SMBC sites. To carry out routine Health and Safety inspections / compliance checks, ensuring all security systems and procedures are adhered to across the corporate estate. Escalate, report or complete any actions. To comply with Health and Safety legislation. To participate in out of hours emergency call out procedures and rota.
