Senior MandE Quantity Surveyor - LeicestershireLocation: Birmingham, MidlandsSalary: Up to 90,000 + PackageProject: 50m MandE ValueJob Type: PermanentThe OpportunityA leading Main Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior MandE Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major project in Birmingham.With an MandE package value of circa 50m, this is a major project offering an excellent opportunity to work across both pre-construction and project delivery.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of the MandE package, working closely with the project, design, procurement and wider commercial teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial management of the 50m MandE package.Support the project through pre-construction and delivery phases.Manage procurement, subcontract accounts, valuations and payments.Manage variations, change control and commercial risk.Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports and forecasts.Work closely with MandE Project Managers, Design Managers and the wider commercial team.Manage and negotiate with MandE subcontractors and suppliers.Support contract administration and ensure commercial procedures are followed.Assist with the preparation and agreement of final accounts.Identify commercial opportunities and minimise project risk.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience working for a Main Contractor.Strong MandE Quantity Surveying experience.Experience working on major MandE ..... full job details .....
