Job Description

• Preparing accurate cost estimates as an Estimator for construction projects across Kent and the South East
• Leading tender submissions for a main contractor, ensuring competitive and commercially sound pricing in Kent
• Reviewing drawings and specifications to support Estimator duties within a busy pre-construction team
• Managing subcontractor and supplier quotations as part of the Estimator role in the Kent head office
• Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to deliver successful bids as an Estimator in Kent

Skills / Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an Estimator within a main contractor environment in Kent or surrounding areas
• Strong commercial awareness as an Estimator with knowledge of construction methods and pricing
• Experience pricing projects in sectors such as education, commercial, industrial, or healthcare in the Kent region
• Ability to manage multiple tenders as an Estimator working in a fast-paced Kent office environment
• Excellent communication skills as an Estimator, building relationships with clients and supply chain across Kent
