Occupational Therapist - Rehousing TeamFull-time (35 hours) or Part-time (minimum 28 hours, over 4 days)Hybrid working - minimum 2 office days per week, with travel across Greater Manchester 35 per hourWe are partnering with a local Authority who are recruiting a locum Occupational Therapist for their Rehousing Team in Manchester. This is an opportunity to use your housing adaptations expertise to make a real difference to the lives of Manchester residents.Key responsibilities:Assess residents in their own homes for housing adaptations.Match applicants to available adapted properties and support them with viewings.Visit customers, both children and adults, at home to carry out medical assessments for priority for moving and to complete reports.Provide high-quality advice on rehousing options available to residents.Manage a varied caseload, finding creative solutions for complex cases.Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to secure positive housing outcomes for individuals and families.Requirements:Must have a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy and must have current HCPC registration.Housing adaptations experience is essential.If you are interested in any of these roles, please contact Kaylah on or (phone number removed) and put through your application .
