Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to take on along-term position in Slough, Berkshire. This role involves providing both individual and general classroom support. We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, committed to helping students reach their full potential, and eager to make a meaningful difference in their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised 1:1 support for Key Stage 1 pupils with additional learning and emotional needs, fostering their engagement, confidence, and overall development
• Facilitate small group interventions that support skill development, peer interaction, and reinforcement of classroom learning
• Tailor support strategies to suit individual learning styles, encouraging independence while maintaining consistent and compassionate guidance
• Establish strong, trusting connections with students, using tailored communication strategies to effectively respond to individual needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet individual learning needs effectively

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SENandnbsp;is beneficial but not required
• Brings a clam, patient and empathetic attitude when working with students
• Able to develop strong, positive relationships with both pupils and staff
• A reliable team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passionate about supporting studentsandrsquo; growth, development, and academic success
• Demonstrates resilience and a strong commitment to inclusive education
  
• Must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
