Ocean Export Supervisor - Southampton - Up to -40,000

An established freight forwarding business is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Supervisor to join its team.

The role will involve overseeing day-to-day Ocean Export operations, supporting and developing the team, managing customer requirements and driving operational improvements.

Location: Southampton, UK

Salary: Up to -40,000

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours: (Apply online only) - Monday to Friday

• Support the Ocean Export team.
• Manage workloads and ensure customer procedures are followed.
• Support quotations and new business transitions.
• Build strong relationships with customers, shipping lines and suppliers.
• Monitor operational performance and identify process improvements.
• Support team development, training and performance.
• Assist with compliance and departmental targets.

• Strong Ocean Export experience within UK freight forwarding.
• Previous supervisory or senior-level experience within UK freight forwarding.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Good knowledge of freight forwarding operations and systems.
