Cogent Staffing are recruiting for experienced Manufacturing Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client are a leading manufacturer of their industry. Full training will provided for this role. Shift/salary: Shifts are continental: 4 x 12 hour day shifts (7am-7pm) followed by 4 days rest period then 4 x 12 hour nights (7pm-7am) This pattern continues, including days, nights and some weekends. 13.53, rising after 12 weeks , permanent/after 12 full weeks of work. All necessary training is provided however previous experience in a physical role and with working both days and nights would be a big benefit. Temporary to permanent opportunity. Weekly pay. The role: Loading and unloading machines Machine minding / machine operating Quality checking products Completing assembly duties using hand held power tools Moving heavy raw materials where required Assisting in the moving of finished products General site maintenance and departmental upkeep in line with health and safety The candidate: Can commit long term to the shift pattern Ability to work DAYS, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS Is able to and from commute to Elland, Halifax for 7am Monday - Sunday Has previous experience in a similar or physical role Is receptive to training and willing to learn Can communicate well and has an eye for detail Following 12 weeks probation period successful candidates will be offered a permanent contract within the company.
