This role is essential in ensuring high standards of quality and safety within the nuclear pipework projects.

• Conducting detailed inspections in line with CSWIP 3.2 standards
• Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using methods such as Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
• Maintaining compliance with nuclear industry standards and regulations
• Preparing and presenting detailed inspection reports
• Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure effective implementation of inspection findings
• Ensuring all inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated according to specifications
• Identifying potential improvements in inspection processes

• CSWIP 3.2 certification
• Experience in Non-Destructive Testing
• Current PCN Level 2 in DPI
• Understanding and experience of MPI NDT methods
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret complex technical documents and blueprints
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills

• Contract duration approx. 2 months
• Initial location: Renfrew, then Alloa
• Paid 50 hour week
• -48/h Umb/CIS/Ltd co (PAYE available)
