SF Recruitment is working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Tax Accountant into a key role within their finance function. This position will support both corporation tax and indirect tax compliance across the business, working closely with finance and wider stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance and effective tax risk management. The role would suit a tax professional looking for a broad remit, technical ownership and exposure across both compliance and advisory work. This would suit someone either practice trained within a corporation tax focused role or someone with industry experience in tax.The role will include: Preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returnsSupporting corporation tax provisions and year-end reportingPreparation and review of VAT returns and indirect tax filingsAdvising on corporation tax and VAT matters, including compliance and risk managementAssisting with tax audits and liaising with HMRC and external advisersMonitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing impact on the businessSupporting wider tax compliance activities where requiredWorking with finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and data integrityIdentifying opportunities for tax efficiencies and process improvementsMaintaining accurate tax records and supporting documentation The ideal candidate will: Have experience across corporation tax and VAT complianceBe confident preparing tax computations, returns and provisionsBe
