Learning Support Assistant (ASD School) – Psychology Graduates Welcome

Contract: Temporaray to Permenant, Full-time (term-time only)
Are you a psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a specialist education setting? Do you have an interest in Autism (ASD), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), or Verbal Behaviour (VB)?
We are working with a specialist ASD school seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their team.
About the Role- Supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning and behaviour
- Implementing strategies based on ABA/VB principles
- Assisting with communication development and social skills
- Helping create a structured, supportive learning environment
- Psychology graduate (or related field)
- Experience with ASD, ABA, or VB is highly desirable
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Patient, resilient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valuable experience for careers in psychology, education, or therapy
- Supportive and specialist school environment
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Potential for long-term or permanent roles
Suitable candidates may be invited to attend a paid trial/cover day to experience the setting firsthand.
