Currently seeking a Controls Engineer Manager based in Berkshire, with a global innovator in sustainable disinfection technology, delivering chemical-free solutions that protect people, processes, and resources.As a Controls Engineer Manager to lead and grow a talented engineering team, developing advanced control systems, ensuring the delivery of high-performance, reliable, and compliant control systems. From concept to completion, you''ll guide project execution, inspire innovation, and support your team''s ongoing development.Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Controls Engineers.Oversee PLC and HMI development, primarily using Allen Bradley systems.Champion continuous improvement in design and development practices.Collaborate across functions including test, production, and service.Ensure industry standards and best practices are met.Support SCADA integration and customer interface development.Balance priorities, manage workloads, and allocate team resources.Contribute to long-term control systems strategy and innovation roadmap.Qualifications

Degree qualified or equivalent experience in Controls Engineering or related field.Proven leadership in engineering teams and projects.Strong PLC/HMI programming experience (Allen Bradley preferred).Confident reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on approach, and attention to detail.Adaptable, self-motivated, and delivery-focused.Desirable Skills
