Network SpecialistOverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Network Specialist to support the deployment, configuration, monitoring and migration of network devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring network assets are accurately recorded, router configurations are correctly applied, monitoring is configured appropriately, and existing devices are managed throughout migration and decommissioning activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, practical networking knowledge and experience working with network monitoring, configuration management and asset/CMDB systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset and Configuration ManagementTag and accurately record network assets.Add and maintain device information within the CMDB.Review and sense-check existing ML devices, including end hosts and device descriptions, to ensure records are accurate.Verify existing device information before replacement or migration to ensure the correct configuration is generated and applied to the new router.Identify peers on Private Wire MLs to ensure the generated configuration is accurate and suitable for the new deployment.Router Deployment and ConfigurationSupport the upload and deployment of router configurations.Verify that the correct firmware version is installed and maintained.Carry out configuration checks prior to implementation to ensure the appropriate configuration is applied.Support network device installations and provide troubleshooting during and after ..... full job details .....
