Role: Domestic Abuse Advocate Location: WalsallContract: Permanent Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 ( Dependent on Experience)Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm ( 37.5 hours) A specialist support organisation is looking for a Domestic Abuse Advocate to provide frontline support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse within the community.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of clients experiencing domestic abuseComplete risk and needs assessments and safety plansProvide one-to-one support, advocacy, and practical guidanceWork closely with safeguarding teams and partner agenciesSupport clients at multi-agency meetings and court where requiredFacilitate support sessions and awareness workMaintain accurate and confidential case recordsRequirementsExperience supporting vulnerable adults and/or childrenKnowledge of domestic abuse, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practiceStrong communication and advocacy skillsLevel 3 qualification in a related fields Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicleEnhanced DBS check requiredPlease note: Due to the nature of the role, this post is open to female applicants only under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.Supporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency.If this sounds of interest, please call Ellie on (phone number removed) or send your CV to (url removed)
