SHEQ and Compliance Advisor Altera Recruitment Group is supporting a growing water industry MEICA contractor in Hampshire in the appointment of a SHEQ and Compliance Advisor, covering sites across Hampshire and the Thames Valley. The business delivers mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation work on water and wastewater sites, and has reached the stage where it needs a dedicated SHEQ resource. The SHEQ and Compliance Advisor will look after the ISO management systems, audit and inspect sites, train the workforce and drive the company''s digital SHEQ system. The role would suit a junior SHEQ coordinator or an experienced SHEQ Advisor who wants to gain experience with a growing, progressive company. Water industry experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities of the SHEQ and Compliance Advisor Maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including procedures, records, corrective actions and legal compliance registers. Carrying out internal audits and supporting external certification audits. Undertaking site health and safety audits and inspections across water and wastewater sites, including behavioural safety observations and checks on RAMS and permits. Assisting with accident, incident and near miss investigations and monitoring the close out of corrective actions.
