TekAlloy are proud to be working a leading engineering and manufacturing businesses in our area.

They are looking for CNC Machinists to join their team on a full time and permanent basis on the Night Shift

Monday to Friday-Days only

Flexible working hours

Joining a team of long servers and some highly skilled Engineers, the successful person will work on one off jobs and components. Manufacturing a range of components for use in mining, Materials handling and Lifting equipment.

Overtime available paid at enhanced rates

Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and use appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each job
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Experience working in a jobbing shop environment
• Familiarity with Siemens controls
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
