This is a hands-on role working in a cutting-edge environment with millions invested so you''ll be joining at a very exciting period of growth. The RoleYou will be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement of PLC-controlled production equipment, assembly and test systems, and site services. The role includes planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and supporting new equipment installation.Key ResponsibilitiesFault finding and repair of PLC-controlled, automated production equipmentCarrying out preventative maintenance activitiesImproving and modifying assembly, test, and transfer systemsMaintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsSupporting installation and commissioning of new machineryWorking closely with production teams to minimise downtimeAbout YouTime-served apprenticeshipCity and Guilds Level 3 / ONC / HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringNVQ Level 2 and 3Minimum 2 years'' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environmentStrong electrical fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled equipmentExperience with hydraulics and pneumaticsAble to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skillsGood understanding of
