This is a hands-on position focused on manufacturing specialist components and assemblies using traditional toolroom and manual machining techniques.Tool Maker - Position OverviewManufacture components and assemblies to engineering drawings and specifications.Use manual milling, turning, surface grinding and bench fitting techniques.Inspect components, approve first-offs and maintain quality throughout production runs.Work with the production team to prioritise manufacturing requirements and schedules.Support the workshop with modification of components and assemblies.Strip, assess and rebuild vehicle sub-assemblies where required.Operate additional production machinery following appropriate training.Carry out general workshop duties including material preparation, cutting, deburring and hand finishing.Complete relevant production and inspection records.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Follow all Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices.Tool Maker - Position RequirementsTime-served ..... full job details .....
