Ready to lead youth work that helps young people build skills, confidence and stronger community connections? This part-time Senior Youth Worker opportunity combines hands-on youth club delivery with team leadership, early intervention and youth participation. The role Based at the Youth Club, you will lead inclusive youth services for young people aged 8 21, extending to 25 for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). You will support young carers and young people with complex needs through informal education and the Young-Thrive model. Lead youth club sessions, youth centre activities and adventure playground provision. Supervise Youth Workers, Assistant Youth Workers and volunteers. Co-produce youth programmes that promote youth voice, participation and social action. Deliver detached youth work, digital youth work and targeted support. Apply safeguarding procedures, manage risks and contribute to assessments and support plans. Work with statutory and voluntary sector partners to support joined-up services. Record sessions on Group Work and use outcome data to improve delivery. Support staff, budget and resource management. What you ll bring A relevant professional qualification, such as a JNC-recognised Youth Work qualification, Social Work, Probation or equivalent. Experience working with young people aged in informal or non-formal settings. Experience leading youth-focused services, supervising staff and supporting quality improvement. ..... full job details .....
