Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting for Forklift Driver based out of Heathrow Airport near Hounslow Feltham for a logistics distribution and supply chain client.

The Candidate:
The ideal person for the Forklift Driver position would need the following:

• - Full Valid Forklift Licence (counterbalance)
• - Be able to provide your last 5 years history
• - Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check
• - The candidate must be flexible with shift work, including nights
• - UK right to work
• - Proof of National Insurance

Duties and Responsibilities of a Forklift Driver:

• Operate counterbalanced forklifts to load/unload vehicles and move cargo safely.
• Candidates will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
• Process paperwork in accordance with our client''s requirements.
• Handling special cargo products
• Building and breaking pallets
• Manual handling
• Preparing and palletizing cargo as needed
• To make a success of this role, you must have previous experience of working in a busy modern warehouse
• Our warehouse operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will also need to be prepared to work shift patterns.

Shifts: Please note the warehouse operates 24hrs a day 7 days a week. Candidates must be flexible to work both days and nights.
