Overview

To collaborate with stakeholders and use data and MI to identify process optimisation opportunities for capacity creation in relevant business areas.This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify efficiency and performance improvement opportunities, driving strategic initiatives and recommending process automation solutions. This position requires strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making to enhance operations and capacity across the business.

Responsibilities

Development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations, using data led insights.

Participation in projects and initiatives to improve performance and optimisation efficiency and effectiveness.

Development of reports and presentations on performance and optimisation and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.

Identification of industry trends and developments, and collaboration with stakeholders across the bank to provide recommendations for change and improvement within performance and optimisation processes.

Development and implementation of analytics and reporting performance and optimisation to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.

Identification of capacity creation in operations using data and Management Information.

Convert strategic goals into practical plans and requirements, plan resources and budgets, manage policies and processes, and drive continuous improvements.

Lead or be part of a team, define roles and responsibilities, and align activities with strategic and tactical priorities while managing budgets and schedules.

Demonstrate leadership behaviours for environments where leaders enable colleagues to thrive and deliver consistently high standards, including listening, energising, aligning, and developing others.

Act as a subject matter expert within own discipline, guiding technical direction, leading multi-year assignments, and coaching less experienced specialists.

Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross-functional impacts and alignment.

Manage and mitigate risks in support of the control and governance agenda; demonstrate leadership and accountability for risk management and strengthening controls.

Collaborate with other areas of work to stay aligned with business activity and strategy.

Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, with in-depth analysis to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

Adopt outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders using influencing skills.

Qualifications

Extensive expertise in Workday capabilities and can advise on optimal use and best practice.

Knowledge of process re-engineering and analysis.

Working knowledge of process automation tools.

Ability to work successfully in a matrix organisation structure with dual reporting.

Experience of working in a project team (as member or lead).

Analysis and problem-solving (process focused preferred).

Stakeholder management across different organisation levels.

Desirable skills / Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tools for Process Modelling (Blueworks) and Process Mining (Celonis).

Ability to review processes, engage with SMEs, and identify process risks and challenges.

A positive ''can-do'' attitude.

Familiarity with process design concepts, and ability to recognise automation opportunities and provide recommendations as part of optimisation review.

Experience in working as a business analyst in technology projects.

Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and thinking on your feet.
