Senior Quantity SurveyorBristol basedUp to 65K+ packageWe are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor in Bristol, working on planned maintenance projects within Social Housing, on behalf of Local Authority and Housing Association clients. Works include predominantly cladding renewals on tenanted HRBs.We are looking for established Senior Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors looking to step up into a Senior role.Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of projects. You will control and maximise the company''s profitability, protect the company''s legal and contractual obligations under the contract and manage all day to day commercial activity.Senior Quantity Surveyor Key responsibilities:Provide commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract/work-stream performance dataSupport the authorisation and submission of project variations.Maximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliersManage junior team members, supporting and developing them Value work executed by sub-contractors and certify interim and final paymentsSenior Quantity Surveyor Essential experience:Degree or other technical qualificationQuantity Surveying experience ..... full job details .....
