The Role An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Regional Health and Safety Manager to support a portfolio of projects across the region. Reporting to the Senior HSE Manager, you will work closely with the Contracts Director, site management teams and HSE professionals to maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across multiple projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE professional to take a leadership role within a growing business, manage and develop a regional HSE team, and contribute to the successful delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities Regional HSE Leadership: Oversee health, safety and environmental requirements across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with legislation, client requirements and company standards. Team Management: Lead, develop and support a regional HSE team, including HSE Advisors, setting objectives, managing performance and promoting continuous professional development. HSE Planning: Develop, review and maintain key project documentation, including Project Management Plans, Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments, method statements and task briefings. Training and Engagement: Oversee site inductions, toolbox talks, behavioural safety initiatives and HSE briefings to promote a positive safety culture across the workforce.
