Site Manager

Job Location: Cowes (local candidates preferred)

RGsetsquare recruitment is working with FM and Construction Companies who are responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts across UK.

Rate: -300350/day
Duration: 10 weeks temp (could extend)

Minimum requirements:

• Understanding of CDM 2015 duties and site management responsibilities.
• Ability to carry out toolbox talks on a weekly basis
• Ability to carry out on site inductions
• Ability to review and understand RAMS and identify when work is deviating from them.
• Knowledge of the site''s permit-to-work system.
• Understanding of contractor control and monitoring requirements.
• Ability to carry out site inspections and intervene if unsafe acts or conditions are observed.
• Understanding of emergency arrangements and site-specific hazards.
• Good communication and coordination skills between operations and the contractor.

Desirable competencies

• SMSTS/SSSTS
• Experience supervising contractors on construction projects
• Familiarity with work at height controls
• Basic awareness of lifting operations and crane installation activities.
