They design and deliver major power projects linking renewable power to UK towns and cities.Specialising in planning, design, and survey of Overhead Lines, Underground Cables, and Substation Systems from LV to EHV, they play a key role in infrastructure projects and renewable developments.The roleSeeking an experienced Principal Planner to lead planning and consenting for major projects, including large-scale green energy infrastructure.This role suits proactive individuals experienced in NSIPs, DCOs, or similar approvals. Experience with linear infrastructure is preferred, but expertise in local planning applications and Section 37 consent processes is also considered.Manage planning and consenting strategies for renewable energy projects, ensuring regulatory complianceCollaborate with Project Manager on planning activities and project viabilityMentor junior planners and team membersImplement planning initiatives from the Operating Board to improve processes and operationsThis opportunity involves working on high-profile energy projects contributing to UK''s Net Zero goals, with room for career growth.The candidateLooking for an ambitious individual passionate about green energy.Masters (preferred) or Bachelors in Geography, Planning, Environmental Sciences, or similarMember or working towards membership of a relevant Professional Institution (desirable)UK driving license preferred for client meetingsMinimum 7 years'' postgraduate experience in infrastructure/development sectorsExperience submitting DCOsThis is a chance to join a reputable, high-performing team that values work-life balance.
