Senior Mechanical Engineer - Water Sector

Advance TRS are supporting a rapidly growing consultancy in their search for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Joining a newly formed London business unit, you''ll have the unique opportunity to help build a team from the ground up, influence how projects are delivered, and play a significant role in the future growth of the business within the UK water market.

You''ll lead the mechanical design of clean water and wastewater projects, producing high-quality engineering solutions while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver mechanical design solutions for water and wastewater projects
* Produce calculations, reports, specifications and design drawings
* Lead and review work from junior engineers and CAD technicians
* Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and subcontract design teams
* Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety requirements and client expectations
* Support project planning, estimating and technical decision-making

About You:

* 8+ years'' mechanical design experience within the UK water sector
* Strong hydraulic design expertise
* Experience with clean water and/or wastewater projects
* Knowledge of electrical and control systems is advantageous
* Degree or HND qualified
* Working towards or already achieved Chartership
