CNC Turner - Programmer, Setter, Operator We''re looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join a specialist precision engineering business. Our client is a growing engineering manufacturer producing high-quality, precision components for a range of demanding applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery, working to tight tolerances and ensuring components are manufactured to the required standards. What''s on offer Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 - 17:00Salary: 36,000- 43,000Working week: 40 hours - 4-day working weekOvertime and bonus opportunities32 days annual leave including bank holidays Key responsibilities Program, set and operate CNC multi-axis turning machinery to manufacture precision components.Work with Fanuc controls and Manual Guide.Produce components ranging from prototypes and one-offs through to medium batch runs.Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.Select appropriate tooling, inserts and machining parameters.Set and change machines independently throughout the working day.Operate CNC lathes equipped with bar feed systems.Carry out first-off inspections and inspect your own work throughout production.Use measuring equipment including verniers, micrometres and thread gauges.Make adjustments to tooling and machining parameters where required.Work with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, super duplex, brass, ..... full job details .....
