JOB TITLE - PAINT MIXING OPERATIVE Location: Birmingham Type: Permanent Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 Job Summary: We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the Birmingham region. In this position your main responsibility will be tinting colour paints according to the given recipe, production specifications and schedules. Main Duties: Tinting the materials according to the given recipe. Retain samples and to keep batch wise data for future references following SOP s. Maintaining the machinery (Dispensers, mixers, shakers) clean and in working condition. Report faulty equipment to Blending Supervisor. Maintenance of safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and lab procedures. Conduct projects from design through implementation by effectively organizing, planning, delegating, coordinating. Follow all waste management procedures. Person Specification: High level of accuracy. Responsible and autonomous in working. Knowledge of the Paint or Coatings industry. Ideally a background with Quality control. Willingness to learn. Computer literate.
