Handle are currently recruiting for an Interim Payroll Administrator with a rapidly growing international retailer. The business is expanding quickly, with significant growth planned, and the Payroll team is growing to support that expansion across UK and EMEA. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with data, solving queries and making sure the detail behind payroll is accurate and under control. Importantly, this isn''t a role where you''ll physically run the payroll. The role You''ll support the wider Payroll function across a range of administrative, data and vendor-related activities. Key responsibilities: Check and validate payroll data Maintain and update employee records Manage the payroll inbox and respond to queries Investigate discrepancies and follow up on issues Maintain payroll and vendor records Liaise with outsourced payroll providers Support payroll audits and data requests Complete payroll checks and reconciliations Support joiners, leavers and employee changes Work across UK and EMEA payroll activity Assist with process improvements and wider payroll projects What we''re looking for: 1-2+ years'' payroll experience Good understanding of payroll administration and data Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with Excel and large amounts of data Experience managing queries or a busy inbox Confident communicating with internal teams and external vendors Organised and able to manage competing priorities Proactive ..... full job details .....
