This role requires not only technical proficiency but also strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, from essential plumbing work to engaging with residents and addressing their maintenance needs promptly. The role plays a crucial part in maintaining the living standards and safety of social housing properties. As a key member of the maintenance team, the operative will assist in transforming and upkeeping the living spaces, thereby improving the quality of life for residents. The Role: Plastering: Complete wall and ceiling skims. Plus patch repairs works. Minor Tiling Repairs: Address small tiling issues in bathrooms and kitchens. Patch Plastering: Execute minor plastering tasks to ensure smooth and finished surfaces. Snagging Works: Identify and rectify minor defects to ensure high-quality standards. Logging Works via PDA: Efficiently document tasks and progress using a PDA. Liaising with Customers, Clients, and Staff: Maintain clear communication to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
