GI Group are currently recruiting HGV Shunter Drivers for our internationally known client based in Doncaster (DN9). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics. We are looking for HGV Shunter Drivers to work on an ongoing basis:Monday to Friday23:00pm start 21.38 per hour 27.26 per hour after 40 hrs Please note: pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay. Duties will include:Conducting vehicle pre-checksShunting trailers between bays, yard and loading areas (site movements)Coupling/uncoupling trailers safely (where required)Working with the transport/warehouse team to ensure trailer availability and smooth yard operationScanning and loading of own vehicle (if required)Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met Driver requirements:Presentable appearance, eye for detail and a positive attitudeNo more than 6 penalty points (No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes)12 months+ Class 1 licenceValid and in-date Tachograph and CPC qualifications To apply:Please call our office on (phone number removed) or email .
