Impact Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Northampton to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on support role within a busy manufacturing environment, providing day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental support across the factory, warehouse and office areas.Role Purpose:As a Health and Safety Officer, you''ll support the day-to-day management of Health, Safety and Environmental standards across the site. You''ll spend time on the shop floor carrying out workplace inspections, identifying hazards and supporting corrective actions, alongside assisting with risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, incident investigations, HSE documentation and toolbox talks.Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday, 8am-1pmLocation: Northampton, NorthamptonshireSalary: 32,000Responsibilities:Monitor day-to-day compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and legal requirements.Carry out regular workplace inspections and Gemba Walks across the factory, warehouse and office areas.Identify hazards, unsafe conditions and unsafe behaviours and support appropriate corrective actions.Assist with the development, review and maintenance of Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.Maintain HSE documentation, records and reporting systems accurately.Support the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses.Assist with identifying root causes and tracking ..... full job details .....
