Quality Inspector Welding and Fabrication12-Month Contract Outside IR35 HampshireI m currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join an engineering and fabrication project on a 12-month contract, with an immediate start available.This opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in welding inspection, fabricated components and non-destructive testing (NDT).Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out quality inspections of welded fabrications and manufactured components.Perform visual weld inspections to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.Inspect weld preparation, fit-up and completed welds.Review engineering drawings, welding documentation and inspection records.Coordinate NDT activities and review inspection reports.Identify defects, raise non-conformance reports and support corrective actions.Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.Work closely with fabrication teams, engineers and quality personnel to ensure compliance with project requirements.Essential RequirementsCurrent, valid welding inspection or NDT Level 2 certification.Proven experience in welding inspection and the inspection of fabricated parts.Previous quality inspection experience within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and quality documentation.DesirableCSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or PCN Welding Inspector Level 2 qualification.Experience with relevant ..... full job details .....
