Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a growing SME business who following continued growth and a recent acquisition, are seeking a new Financial Controller manage the finance function, support the MD and provide commercial support to the business.The ideal candidate will be hands-on, operationally focused, and capable of developing processes within the finance function once fully integrated into the role.Responsibilities

Full control of monthly Management accountsto a PLC requirementManagement and control of budgetsManagement of creditors and debtorsManage all cashflow including review and analysisEnsure compliance with tax and accounting regulations.Manage the annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts.Responsible for all monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and balance sheet control.Provide supporting financial information for monthly board reporting within set timescales.Qualifications

Qualified accountant or equivalentExperience working in an SME business and in a flexible, fast-paced environment.Proven track record of having implemented and developed financial processes within an SME.Ambitious, energetic, with a pro-active approach.Team-minded and flexible, able to manage and develop a small team of finance professionals.Experience with QuickBooks will be advantageousConfident and able to communicate effectively.How to apply
