Connect2Hackney is recruiting for an experienced Children''s Centre Room Leader.This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional to lead a room within a busy and inclusive Children''s Centre, supporting children aged 0-5 years to achieve the very best outcomes through high-quality care, learning and development.Based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), you will play a key role in delivering outstanding childcare provision while supporting and developing a team of Early Years Educators.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a designated nursery room and age group.Plan and deliver stimulating, inclusive and developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.Support children''s learning, development and wellbeing through high-quality play and educational experiences.Supervise, support and develop Early Years staff, including contributing to supervision, appraisals and performance management.Ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment at all times.Build positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies.Support the centre in maintaining high standards and achieving positive Ofsted outcomes.Oversee children''s observations, assessments and developmental records.Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice throughout the setting.What We''re Looking ForLevel 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum.Significant post-qualification experience in an Early Years ..... full job details .....
