HR Manager

Key responsibilities include:Manage the safer recruitment process, ensuring all relevant checks are completed for new employees including DBS, reference check etcCreate and issue job specifications, offers of employment and contracts of employment across all businesses.Schedule interviews, liaise with the recruiting manager and be part of the interview process Work closely with managers across the business, assisting them to understand and implement policies and procedures and employment legislation, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory legislation and HR best practices.Keep the HR portal up to date with new and existing staff details in line with the GDPR legislation.Support development meetings across the businesses, to identify gaps and training needs. ensure all appraisals and supervision schedules are planned and adhered to across all businesses, and ensuring training requirements are sent to the training manager.Manage the disciplinary and grievance processes for all businesses.Manage the annual leave processManage and assist managers in implementing the company''s absence management procedures with the aim of reducing sickness absence levels; provide support to managers on capability issues. Notify payroll of all changes on a weekly basis, including new starters, leavers and absences.Process pensions on a weekly basis and upload information onto the pension provider''s portal.Be responsible for employee welfareBe responsible for recording and monitoring the empl
