About the RoleAs a Vehicle Assembler, you will be responsible for the dismantling and reassembly of commercial vehicles, incorporating a range of bespoke modifications and enhancements. This is a unique chance to showcase your mechanical expertise and contribute to the development of cutting-edge defence technology.Key ResponsibilitiesCarefully strip and dismantle commercial vehicles according to detailed instructionsAssemble bespoke, modified vehicles with precision and attention to detailUtilise a variety of hand and bench tools, including torque wrenches, to ensure accurate and secure assemblyWork collaboratively as part of a skilled team or independently using your own initiativeInterpret mechanical instructions and technical documentation to guide your workRequirementsMinimum City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive Repair or Vehicle SystemsExtensive experience in a mechanical assembly or vehicle repair roleProficient in the use of workshop tools, such as torque wrenches, socket wrenches, and screwdriversAbility to work from detailed instructions and maintain a high level of accuracyStrong problem-solving skill
