The Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing and measuring components and finished products to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications. Working within a manufacturing environment producing mechanical products for a range of industrial sectors, the role will play a key part in maintaining product quality, ensuring compliance and supporting continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities for the appointed Quality Technician/Junior Quality Engineer:Carry out quality inspections and dimensional measurements on components, assemblies and finished mechanical products to ensure they meet engineering specifications.Use a range of measuring and inspection equipment.Accurately document inspection and test results, ensuring records are complete, reliable and fully traceable.Identify, document and report quality issues, escalating non-conformances to the relevant team members.Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports and measurement data.Support batch-release of products by providing test and inspection evidence.Assist with quality investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions, helping to prevent issues from recurring.Keep ..... full job details .....
