About the Role
A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Buckingham is seeking an energetic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity, health, and teamwork. The role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, providing the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities and promote active participation.
Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school competitions.
Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing across the school community.
Participate in departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching PE at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities.
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Strong organisational and communication abilities.
A passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
