The successful Quality Engineer will have previous quality experience within a manufacturing environment demonstrating a clear knowledge of APQP and PPAP. Job Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of products through Advanced Product Quality Planning. You will support all European based projects and be responsible for leading the co-ordination of quality activities for products manufactured in other regions (Asia and N.America). You will be responsible for modelling the way in terms of APQP disciplines, AAR objectivity, Lessons Learnt and FMEA processes. PPAP generation is a key part of the role, and you will have total responsibility for ensuring absolute alignment of PPAP documents and boundary samples between our suppliers and the customer. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a framework of procedures (TS16949) and practices which ensure that the products and services provided within Europe meet the specified design and quality criteria, thus leading to satisfied customers.
