This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, helping to ensure that college buildings and facilities are kept in excellent condition. Key Responsibilities: Changing light bulbs and replacing faulty fittings. Carrying out basic plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and sinks. Installing and repairing fixtures and fittings, such as shower curtains and bathroom accessories. Completing minor painting and decorating work. Undertaking general maintenance and repair duties across the college site. Responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring a high standard of workmanship. Assisting with the upkeep of student accommodation, offices, and communal areas. Requirements: Previous experience in a handyman, caretaking, facilities, or basic maintenance role. Good practical skills across a range of general maintenance tasks. Basic knowledge of plumbing, decorating, and minor repairs. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
