The manufacturing site is committed to excellence and continuous improvement.As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production lines.Your responsibilities will include:General maintenance duties, proactive and reactive to ensure there is minimal downtimeCommunicate details of unscheduled downtime to the Maintenance Lead and the reasons, with solutions offered.Participate in troubleshooting and problem resolutionParticipate in continuous process improvements.Update the KPI board promptly with relevant information to pass on to your work colleaguesMaintain regular communication talks with the machine foreman and other team leaders to discuss any relevant issuesEnsure comprehensive information, both verbal and written, is carried out between shifts to ensure efficient and smooth handover to other maintenance staff and the Maintenance LeadCarry out routine maintenance schedules to the maintenance schedule plan PPM (preventative planning maintenance)Regularly check the computer SFOL (shop floor on-line) to ensure the current machines are all running.Prioritise pr
